Introduction to cellular concrete

The coarse aggregates used in sand-free macrocellular concrete¬†can be divided into two categories: ordinary coarse aggregates and lightweight aggregates (including artificial and natural aggregates). Tests have shown that the smaller the particle size of sand-free macrocellular concrete¬†aggregates, the greater the porosity between Jike particles and the strength of the prepared concrete is higher. Therefore, sand-free macrocellular concrete¬†aggregates usually use a single particle size with a small size. , such as 10~20mm or 10~30mm. This can make the void ratio larger and have sufficient contact area between aggregate particles to ensure that the concrete has sufficient strength. The content of coarse aggregate needles and flake particles in sand-free macrocellular concrete¬†should not be greater than 15% by mass, and the mud content (including powder content) in the gravel should not be greater than 1%.
